Journal Intime
Like many artists, I have always been very sensitive to books as objects and paper as a whole and have been wanting to make high quality notebooks for a while but I was waiting for the right person to come along.
I met Robert from Labobratori back in 2023 after spotting his beautifull notebooks online. We got talking and quickly decided to embark on a little collaboration, bringing together his love for beautiful hand-bound notebooks and one of my most iconic erotic illustration Orgy.
Over the course of six months, we developed a fully embossed stationary set that could be made using a single metal plate for both a small notebook and a larger sketchbook.
The notebooks uses threaded binding, with 16-page quires that allow opening to a full 180 degrees, with a soft-touch surface cover and were made with love in Valencia, using high quality Munken & Fedrigoni papers.
To complete the stationary set, we decided to produce a duo of open edition foiled prints in silver and gold.

The full-bleed embossing on the covers, intricate shapes and details, exposed spine, and painted edges were all crucial elements that had to come together seamlessly, transforming what could be seen as a simple notebook into a design object."
