Grids

I loved mathematics as a teenager but never really considered how much of an impact it would have on my work until decades later. In the early days of my career, I started using geometry without being fully conscious of it when exploring patterns and more abstract pieces.

As my understanding of perspective and light deepened, so did my love for geometry. Today, I use grids and geometric structures when I want to establish a systematic relationship between the various elements of a piece, looking for the perfect structure to build on.
