Erotica

When I started my career as an illustrator, erotica was already an important part of my body of work. My first erotic alphabets stem from a long time fascination for erotica and really helped put me on the map as an illustrator. In these pieces I used negative space to suggest sensuality without ever fully revealing it. At this time, most of the other erotic art I could find was created by men. I felt it was important for me to share my vision, as a woman, of what was sexy – sensuality and cheekiness mixed with a touch of humour.
