Animo
Animo is a collaboration with Amsterdam brand of sustainable ponchos Rainkiss.
They aim to replace single-use plastic ponchos with eco-friendly, designer poncho made from 100% recycled polyester and free from harmful chemicals.
I loved the idea of having a one-size poncho as my canvas and wanted to take this opportunity to tell the brand's ethos and value in a visual way. I instantly had the idea of paying hommage to the iconic animal puzzle by Enzo Mari, the perfect metaphor for the interconnection of humans and nature.
I started drawing animals one by one, letting the negative space guide my hand. I built the final composition, one animal at a time until finding that perfect balance. The real challenge here was to make it work as a repeat pattern.
